Produced in the Czech Republic, the SuperStarlight represents the pinnacle of high-tech competition sailplanes. With its high gloss pre-finished airframe it combines lightweight construction with exceptional strength, thus maintaining low wing loading whilst able to withstand high speed power winch launches that are a critical part of competition gliding.

There is, however, more to the SuperStarlight than pure competition flying. Its precise yet predictable control responses combined with surprisingly benign handling characteristics make for a great ‘sport’ model for either slope or flat field soaring. With ‘tuned-up’ control movements it is also a fine aerobatic performer capable of graceful loops and rolls, inverted flight and even outside loops!
